Nice job man. 2040 Market St addition is going to be visible from that vantage point as well at least from a density standpoint.

It'll be a little more to the right than that, this picture is taken at an approximately 45 degree angle off the grid. Notice that the walls of Commerce Plaza and 2400 Market are at grid angle.

From this vantage point, 2100 Chestnut and the Murano will be competing for space.

Photo update from this afternoon. I have another picture but Picasa is having a fit right now so I'll try again later.

Yeah the Murano is on the eastern 1/2 of the 2100 block. 2116 Chestnut will be on the western 1/2 of the block. They will be almost flush as far as the skyline is concerned, of course on different streets.

They had a 5-6 semis lined up on I-95 today with the giant precast concrete slabs , assuming they were for this project.

Hey philly types who are here all the time. Can you start a thread for 800 Walnut too? It's under construction (I know, I checked at lunch: http://www.parkwaycorp.com/prop_inve...nut_towers.pdf).

More on topic, I have a few photos from the phils game last night. This tower, based on the crane, is going to fill in a great hole in the skyline from PECO to the rest of downtown perfectly from that angle. I'll have those pics up when I'm back home on Sunday.

Good stuff Cuz.

Favorite project going right now. Will be highly visible at that location once this thing gets above 15 stories.

Nice! Getting amped for this one. Will dramatically alter the skyline from where I believe is the best view of the city - South St. Bridge.

Let's hope for something deep and ominous. I walked by last night and it's up to four+ floors, 10% its intended height, and it's looming over it's near-neighbors like the evil villain it was purported to be. Bwahahaha.

What you see now is the base, not the tower, which will be set back from the street. That was what the nimbys wanted.

Is the projected height 380 feet? (I had to page thru the thread to find this.)
Shouldn't the height be listed in the title of the thread (especially since this appears to be the tallest building now under construction in Philly)?

It's not listed because no body knows the official height... multiple sources have claimed either 33 floors, 34 floors or 35 floors and the height could be anywhere from 380 to over 400 feet.... sooo

This is much closer to Market Street than I had originally thought. From this angle, one would not be able to see One Liberty Place after top-out. Perhaps the spire of One Liberty Place will be seen.

Here's a view of the top from 2101 chestnut. I'm new to the forum and live right next to this thing so I thought I'd contribute!
