181 feels secondary in most pictures because of its proximity to the larger Salesforce Tower and because both are under construction at the same time. I like this photo because it gives a sense of the impact 181 would have if built on its own.

He left it out for the reason he stated, which is very logical and interesting.

Yeah but there's a simple solution to that: If you don't want to see Salesforce you can just place your hand over the photo and block it out. In this particular photo I would like to see Salesforce.

I can always block it out myself if I want to see what he is talking about.

Heller Manus saved it all up for this one, the simplistic sophistication of 181 Fremont is timeless and an exceptional addition for the SF skyline.
