Precisely Pedestrian; I feel exactly the same and we are far from the only ones. https://sf.curbed.com/2018/12/21/181...troubled-tired

Trinity Place IV 5/18/2019

Glad to see something above street level happening! It has been a long time coming.

^^Walked over there today but sadly couldn't see much above ground yet. Much more obvious progress happening just down Market Street on the two projects on the north side of the street.

Also very surprising to me was the heavy presence of police. A "mobile command center" was even parked on UN Plaza. But there were beat cops seemingly on every block. Maybe it has to do with the shooting near 6th & Market recently. Anyway, the stretch felt much safer than usual.

I’m on Market fairly frequently and have seen that SFPD Mobile Command Center there at night for many months. The heavy police presence is no longer new.

^^Very nice. I can see the two cranes from where I live and I keep wondering what they're accomplishing.

This project feels like it's creeping at a snail's pace — esp when compared to projects like 1500 Mission.

Yes, I have gotten tired of looking at the hole in the ground. I think with the parking garage on the site & being next to the Muni & Bart station has mad for a long time to get the foundation dug & built. I think it will move very fast now.

Scheduled completion is not until 2021 . . . 2 years from now. So don't expect it to move that fast.

^^I think I can see where the giant gateway opening will be.
If only the "hole" had not been "value engineered" away.

It was Phase 2 (of 4) that mucked up and cheapened everything.

I had stopped posting in this thread because I was so annoyed about the re-working of this project, but since with phase 4 they relented somewhat and partially redeemed themselves...
