Hard to tell, but looks like main parts of the lower-lantern are transparent, and the thin horizontal separators are opaque? Since the top part appears to be opaque, and will obviously be lit, I'm guessing that the thin opaque parts will also be lit and it will transition (hopefully subtly but maybe abruptly) to the upper lantern? That could look really cool. Some of the renders on p1 appear to show this, but there's one that actually seems to show the opposite (that the transparent parts are illuminated and blend in with the top part.)

This building is looking better and better every day! The spine on it is literally looking cutting edge. When this building is completely its going to redefine the skyline and have good presence for future projects.

with that spine lit up & those two supplemental banks of windows further out on each side also lit up as in those last pictures above it's going to look like a vertical multi-lane highway into the sky
Are they installing leds or florescent lights cuz to me it looks like the latter?
If you are referring to the "spine," it actually consists of "bay" windows until you get to the cooling tower. That's where the decorative lantern begins. The spine lighting is not part of any decorative scheme, but simply is interior lighting coming through those windows.

Sounds like it'll be like CC1 and be yellowish / 2,700k 3/4 of the way up, then switch to white LED 5,000K for the lantern, unless they can hopefully match the color temperature. Either way, it's awesome that those are bay windows. Otherwise would be kind of a waste of great space.
