Very cool, I really liked the overhead of the Shakespeare Festival's theater!

Great find Visualize. Out city is so beautiful, the trees, the green, the water, the mountains. And we have real Boulevards

Those last two of Meridian are interesting.

This one shows the Doubletree Club hotel I stayed in most recently. Boise has a park like setting.

Sweet aerials, they really show off the urban wood that is Boise!
Pic 30 looks a lot like the Malad River Gorge; The Devils Washbowl.
For a second there I thought it was the Boise River Canyon but then I noticed I-84
The shot of the Shakespeare Festival Theatre reminds me that I need to get my season pass purchased for this years shows.

You are right. It is the Malad River Gorge. I figured it was close enough to consider it with the area since the more impressive Boise River Canyon was absent.

True, it is close to Boise, just around an hours drive from the city and well worth the trip.

I really like this view you posted Visualize. This shot does a good job at showing how dense and tight, and personal our downtown core is. In my opinion the small blocks Boise has have a much more organic feel than large blocks. Those lots along Front and Myrtle need some good infill.

Hope you don't mind me adding this one Visualize. Remember this pic I posted about a year ago.

I agree, that shot is amazing and our block size serves us well. It is currently my desktop background.

Here is another one from a similar angle during the day.

Boisecynic:
Yeah, I remember that picture. It is a classic. Feel free to post whatever you want. It reminds me of when Kathryn Albertson Park was still a horse pasture. The total absence of mature trees in Ann Morrison Park is pretty striking. We've come a long way. I wish there was another picture showing the rest of downtown. It would be way more dramatic.

Excellent, excellent pics!! I love aerials. That one of Couer d' Alene was interesting. I like it. It shows a different side to the city than normally gets shown. Looks like it is growing pretty well up there.

I was just doing work up in Twin Falls this last 2 weeks. The canyon there is amazing. The Sportsmans Warehouse parking lot is smack on the edge and the view from there was pretty breathtaking.

Great Pics!!

I've always enjoyed my visits to Boise.....a very beautiful city.

While it might be a neat experience watching football at the stadium, the blue field is a "tough watch" on tv.................sorry BSU fans.
