Looks fantastically tall, but unfortunately very generic. What is it with only one color of spandrel in this Metro? Some color would be nice and I hope the rooptop feature won't disappoint.
Coquitlam Centre is becoming a vertical bedroom community very quickly.
Well, I don't think the "Cathedral' like amenities centre at the top floor is completed yet, so we shall see how it goes.
I do agree with the vertical bedroom community....Cressey was suppose to build a 9 storey office building called "M-Pro" and yet its still a sales centre. I have no idea if they ever will push through, or just make it yet another condo. At least Onni has started with their office building at Suterbrook beside Ioco station...
This building and the 1123 westwood tower nearby, are rally gonna add to the Coquitlam skyline once finished. Imagine what the area will be like in just a few years when the evergreen line is finished, especially with three stations so closely packed, they must be expecting a lot of density and traffic
Looks very nice. I was in Coquitlam yesterday and this dark tower looks very good. I just didn't see "the ledge", the balcony extending far out from the top. Did they redesign it?
Some pics from this week. With the phone. Forgot to take the picture of the glass floor but it's basically just a 3x3 foot square panel. Didn't really take pictures of things inside the Sky-Lounge but they had some nice things in there.
-Grand Piano
-Ping Pong Table
-Pool Table
70 inch TV w/Telus TV, Blue Ray Player, AV Receiver, pretty nice sound system
-Bluetooth operated sound system w/in ceiling speakers all over, massive bar, kitchen, reading area/lounging area, huge balcony w/huge barbecue, a few cardio equipment, Wi-Fi
-Ceiling ranged from 30 feet to 10 feet
Great photos! I love how most green forest there is in Coquitlam. Definitely a community that is going pretty un-noticed in here, but perhaps Skytrain will change all of that.
Slightly surprising that now that the two newest towers are completed there is nothing tall under construction in Coquitlam center. I hope many of those surface parking lots will start filling up soon.
