Got to ride on a Sea King for 10minutes over Halifax Harbour.
(a quick overview of most skyscrapers in Halifax :-)

Neat video! Loved the part where it skims across the harbour by the Seaport. I actually noticed them out and about on Saturday. I biked over to the market from Dartmouth and both on the way there and on the way back, a Sea King passed over me on the bridge. Both flights were really and low. It was almost like the helicopter just flew through the low spot at the centre of the span between the two towers. Figured DND was holding an exercise, but I guess it was also a fun day for DND families.

Neat video!

I also saw them on Saturday flying over the harbour and Shearwater when I was out taking photos around Mount Hope.

Personally I figured it was either military exercises or a search for a missing person around Eastern Passage.

BTW you should post this in the Post Videos of Your City Thread

cool thanks for sharing! I was in Hali on Saturday and was wondering what was going on. Got some pics of them flying over the waterfront. They were pretty low/close.

Should have landed one in the Grand Parade and blown away the debris that has collected there.
