i know what you mean..and i think it comes from the fact that the upper part of it is bigger than the middle. right now it looks normal but we'll see how it'll look when the upper part is constructed.

It'll be dominant for the foreseeable future and the cluster around the West Tower is kept at a safe distance. It's unlike the urban planning of Pudong where the Oriental Pearl seems lost in the skyline.

Sadly to say, this one has topped out. They are now working on final core adjustments for the top levels, and then will install the antenna once the skeleton catches up.
