Cool Let's recreate historic skylines.

Hello! This is a thread inspired by the thread "what if names like larkin and metlife were synonomous with NYC?"

Here we are free to recreate skylines from the past/future using google earth/google sketchup or any other 3d program of choice.

Heres some of mine:

1930s NYC:

1930s Chicago:

How do you mean?

If you mean "The are historic photos of Old New York" then yes that is true... But a Photo, while giving a more "real" and emotional feel, is still limited. Recreating history in a computer setting allows us to view these from any angle and any view that we wish.
