If all these proposals actually go up then Hamilton's skyline will be seriously revolutionised!

Will it be on the parking lot or replacing a building?

I'd imagine the whole lot, parking and restaurant. The restaurant itself doesn't have much of a footprint. Stonewall is a great restaurant btw, highly recommended.

But yes it's an extremely exciting time for Hamilton.

^Good stuff, though I was hoping this project might include that nasty building at the corner of Queen and York.

The nasty grey two-storey building at Queen and York does need to go... as does the nasty orange two-storey building between the nasty grey one and this proposal site.

Like so many areas around the core of the city, York represents future opportunity. But it will take a lot to mend the mistakes made when it was redeveloped into a "gateway".

It's been years since I've been there in person, but at least on google maps it looks like fairly decent post-war urban building.
