Gorman and Mt. Pinos (California mid-May snowfall)

I drove up to the Gorman area along the 5 near southern California's grapevine to get a view of the springtime bloom in the hills but as I had already thought this year's showing was a near complete no-show, due to record dryness this past winter. I took pics nonetheless and since there wasn't much to see I drove east about 30 minutes and was hit by surprise very late-season snowfall. Because of the weather I got see a variety of landscapes within a 30 mile radius.
