Downtown Boise ~ Summer Loving

June 21, Boise.
The first day of Summer was busy in downtown with Boise Pride, The Capitol City Saturday/Farmers Market, Boise World Refugee Day with a naturalization ceremony, and the circus was in town with plenty of animal rights activists cruising The Grove Plaza. Here is what I saw as I walked up and down 8th Street.

Enjoy!

A few extra skyline shots from last week:

Enjoyed the tour, as usual, Sawtooth! Thanks.

I see a warm weather on the full of life streets. I like the scenes you captured about the street farmer market. Boise is a very pretty city, I´m completely sure about it.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Excellent set as always Sawtooth! Downtown street vibrancy is one of the reasons I admire Boise so much. I know of a few larger cities that could learn a lesson from Boise.

I love the photos, as usual! Couldn't make it to Pride, so I'm really happy you documented it so well.

It's an eight hour drive from Portland to Boise on I-84, and one of these days, I'll make it out there since your threads have been so convincing that Boise is worth visiting. Solid.

Wow, what a surprise. I don't think many people associate Boise, Idaho with tolerance or diversity-- thanks for showing us a slice of a little-known and probably very misunderstood city.

Really nice set! Wish there was a high speed train connecting Boise and Seattle.

Those of us who are familier with Boise have known this for years, it is like a little slice of utopia tucked away in beautiful Idaho. My younger sister and her partner who live in Boise are planning their wedding next week. I hope I can make it up there for it.
