You are even closer than I am, I cant see it from here, but Im in next block so I walk past the site every day on my way in and out of work. This is probably the most excited you will ever see folks to see an existing structure come down.

I told you those guys would understand if you burst into that conference room and interrupted their meeting.

It wasn't the guys in the conference room I was scared of, it was the admin guarding it.

It's good practice for when you're married.

Looking under that hideous metal lining along the top of the building...you can see how intricate and nice the old stonework was on the original building. I really wish the 70s didn't destroy so much architecture.

If I had a nickel for every time I thought the same thing, I'd be living at 10 Rittenhouse,

I was inside that building at the school that was there at least 10-15 times and I have to say, it was a terrible, terrible building. Good riddance getting rid of it.

You know, I think I really like the Aramark Tower. For whatever reason I've never taken a long look at it. For better or worse, it just kind of blends into the background, which is strange because it's (one of?) the tallest east of City Hall.

LOL that's funny, I was recently thinking the same thing. I've been taking periodic pictures of the demolition from a specific point in the sidewalk, using Aramark as a guide to get the same shot. And the more I look at it, the more I think, "it's kind of a handsome building." I don't think it's great, but I don't think it's bad either. It's certainly better than some of the boring boxes on West Market that seem like infill.

So I take it you're on the project?

(There is no way to get that shot unless you're in the demo site)
