This makes sense, especially for the industrial zones, which we've seen are susceptible to poor urban development such as Fuqua's Northside & 17th project. I'd hate to stall any momentum, but I don't think three months is much to ask if it means a better built environment long term.

Agreed.

Besides, construction / developments tends to slow down this time of year any way (with the end of the fiscal year). I'd rather have a moratorium now than next Spring / Summer.

Let's hope they can help bring Amazon to Atlanta and Midtown. Their cooperation on land could be a critical component

I previously mentioned Apple's VP of Retail met with North American Properties a couple of weeks ago. I believe this is a done deal.

This is going to be interesting.

I wonder how Boston was given no points for transit. I believe they beat Atlanta on transit usage. Seems like a mistake. It does not seem to account for costs of doing business, or development potential.

Agreed. There are plenty of other head-scratchers on there - for example, Dallas scored higher than Atlanta on "Universities." Or San Jose getting a zero on airports and transit. Or Toronto getting a zero on Universities. And so on... I think I'll just have to ignore all of these Amazon bid city comparisons for my own sanity.
