Development in OKC has significantly slowed following the oil slowdown, but there are a few new developments that has sprung up. I now live in Los Angeles, but I still try and keep with my home city's progress.

As for the grand showcase development -- BOK Tower

Thanks to Pete of OKCTalk for the most recent photo update

Broadway Park

This development has been under the attack of the downtown design review.

Wheeler District

New mixed-use district

This is the latest update: a new Ferris Wheel has opened along with a food truck court and a new showcase sign for Oklahoma City

The sign can also have images projected on it.

Here is their website: http://www.wheelerdistrict.com/

The OKC Zoo has announced a new Asia Exhibit expansion:

New residential mid-rise going in at 4th and EK Gaylord. So far it is being called Times Square OKC which I don't like :p

I'm personally not a huge fan of the design and certain don't like the single story pharmacy but whatevs. It should be a decent project I think and I hope it gets built.

From Pete of OKCTalk

Quote:
The proposed plan contained herein is subject to modification depending on market conditions as they may evolve but initially consist of the following:

327 residential units

36,500 SF of commercial space: 10,500 sq.ft. within the tower and a 26,000 sq.ft. pad site (pad site able to accommodate a 2‐story retail/commercial building for 52,000 square feet if market conditions warrant).

712 space parking garage (plus an additional 45 surface parks); total parking spaces provided is 757.
