montreall is really beautiful and seems cool, but the winters are pretty harsh i take it?

You get used to it.

I have been trying to find a compilation, or list of the coldest overall cities on the planet but haven't been able to find much. I think Montreal's winters are on par with Moscow's if you want an idea.

MTL is one of the only cold climate cities that looks reasonably comfortable in the middle of winter.

I really dig that building in your 3rd pic. Ill say it again, MTL still owns the best midrise buildings in Canada.

looks like the same south concordia, westmount walk i took right when my camera broke. painful memories. its in repair but i think they're going to screw me somehow.

now we have the mcgill ghetto and the concordia ghetto in the same thread. wonderful.

elsonic, i like the angle you chose for that photo of the art deco fire station/little victorian houses with chinese businesses. it reveals the mass of buildings behind the two which is quite impressive.
