Well, one thing to notice is that the Google Earth imagery they used to superimpose the rendering to is the imagery from the previous Google Earth imagery update. So, if you go on Google Earth now you're going to see different images (and cars).
Several buildings are either still under construction in this image or are missing completely, but they're shown in the current Google Earth imagery.
Before I caught that, I was going to suggest that perhaps it was the speed of the cars that messed with the clarity of the images, but we all know no one ever drives faster than 5 mph on I-35.
