Birmingham retrospective - 3 years of my pics

it's been a little over a year since i moved from Birmingham, so why not take a look back on 3 years worth of most of my favorite pics?
pics are from all over the metro, so while some aren't Birmingham-proper, it's still the metro. anyone have any new pics?

Fun retrospective L. I remember quite a few of those. Gotta keep an eye out for those rowdy knights acting like hooligans in a park. And I'm ashamed to admit in the past I've driven drunk before, but I've never parked a van on a roof (hope he found it the next morning). That pano was awesome, and too many fun/great shots to comment on. I'll just say thanks for the entertaining thread.

btw, thanks for avoiding Sulley, be careful, I think he's losing his mind.

Birmingham looks so appealing. It's definitely one of the cities I'd like to visit.

Great Pics Syd.

I was a bit worried about Alabama after The Top Gear US Special in which
Clarkson and co nearly met an untimely end at the hands of local rednecks,
but Birmingham looks cool so my mind is now rested of such fears.

Birmingham's loss for sure. Although maybe it's your loss too, it's so photogenic. Great variety LSyd.

Looks like an interesting city. I passed through a few years ago, but my traveling companions were scared to venture too far off the highway. I wish we could have a least went through the downtown area.

rofl...thanks for the clip. that's more likely to happen in what's known as "LA," aka "lower alabama." or in georgia.

Some great pisc -especially the night shots - wow!

I have to say, Birmingham AL strikes me as even uglier than it's much bigger namesake, Birmingham UK, (one of the ugliest cities in the UK). There never seem to be any pics of Birmingham UK on this forum, which is a shame...

That's what I was hoping this would be. Nice pics either way, though.

thanks for the replies.

i don't think either Bham's ugly though, although a lot of people from other cities like to take cheapshots at both cities (probably jealous of something, i'm guess the vulcan statue and the two towers.)

if you're interested, my bham, uk pics are here

wow - you've got pics of Birmingham AL and Birmingham UK - that's dedicated! Great thread and pics about Birmingham UK by the way (it's a city that has undergone a lot of change - I still think it's ugly, but way, way better than it used to be!!)
