NTRP hit $20 yesterday; currently pulled back to $18.65.

CALA holding firm at $9.

How much do you usually trade with Caltrane: $1000-5000?

Smallest position is $500 bux, biggest about 20k.

Majority of my holdings in cash, because I always want to be prepared for a crash.

BTW - I'm getting lashed today, major stock market crash. Getting ready to short if this is prolonged.

Well I believe we'll see a correction to around 18881 by mid April. Then onwards to 24k before another crash.

CALA's rolled back a few dollars. Meanwhile, NTRP is shooting skywards like a condo tower: $25.50.

My stomach is not strong enough for your trades man.

The good thing is, if you hit a good one, you make more than enough money.

Ok Caltrane, CALA hit $14.75 and NTRP HOD $29 today.

I have taken some cash off the table to buy some new toys.

Congratulations urbandreamer!

Instead of buying "toys" why not buy a solid stock for the long term? Or build up a cash reserve for those times when you're losing money?

A couple of weeks ago a colleague at work told me, he likes to day trade and he makes $50-$200(p/day). He was harping on me for buying stocks for the long term (kinda like someone in this thread). I told him I like to collect dividends and I keep a reserve to buy more dividend stocks on dips. Anyways, I've been seeing the guy around the office, looks depressed and won't talk to me except hi-bye kinda deal. I know what's up, he don't have to tell me.

Need balls of steel to day trade, not my thing man. Especially with big amounts of money.

Looks like we have the beginning of a subprime crisis on our hands.

I'm just gonna build up my cash and wait for a nice big crash and come in like a hawk!!

Home Capital has a liquidity problem, not a default or credit problem. Expecting them to be the ones to crash the market is wishful(?) thinking.

So Amazon is driving so many companies into bankruptcy, I need to buy at least one share. Currently trading at a little less than $1000 USD per share, and a crazy 40 times earnings. Ridiculous, but I want to be a part of their destruction of bricks and mortar retail. A grand to burn.

Bought some Apple shares this week, because iPhone 8 is coming and morons will be buying. I want to pocket some of their money. The multiple is not as stupid as AMZN, only around 18 times earnings. (Plus $250 billion cash in reserves, and a net 70 billion cash positive postion)

Other US stocks in my sights, GOOG, and FB.

Canadian stocks I'm considering right now BBRY/ blackberry and RIOCAN.

Amazon is not only making money off their retailing, they make a fortune off their cloud computing business and they're exploding like crazy in that sector.
