There was another news blurb from another news station in Austin today about River North. This time it was KVUE news that did it. Kind of cool hearing about San Antonio developments in Austin media.

Yeah San Antonio is an awesome city....to bad we are about to go into Stage 3 water restictions....

We need more high rises.....even if they are not downtown...

The River Walk is still better than any other copy cat river walk in the US....

Yeah, our riverwalk is definitely better than the one I saw in OKC. That was like 8 years ago though so it might be better now.

I think our next highrises will probably be condos, most likely around the new river north.

Definitely better, but what's the deal with all these 4-star hotels/condos and their tiny pools?

I wasn't even thinking about the size. You're right, though. They are small pools. I guess they'd work for early morning laps, or just lounging by the edge. Of course a lot of people just like to hang out around the pool and sunbathe.

I wonder that same thing, It seems as if these nice high class hotels would like to have a nice size pool to match that, but I guess not.

The artwork along the Riverwalk is truly first class and ultra modern. I think River North is surely going to bring back that "cool/hip/modern" vibe that's been missing from downtown...I really love 1221 Broadway, can't wait until it's complete!
P.S.
Can we please try not to post pictures of other cities (like Austin) in this San Antonio Projects/Construction discussion page?
