Stalled?

There has been no activity at this building in weeks. Anyone know what's up?

The glass doesn't look that bad.

I believe I read that all the glass was ruined during Sandy and everything is going to have to come down?

AMAZING shots of Brooklyn in this thread. AMAZING. Do most of the towers have rooftop access? I've been in one that had...amazing views, but it appears this is common!

Why would the glass be ruined because of a storm? If it isn't cracked or etched by flying sand, what could possibly happen to it?

From what I heard from my cousin (who's part of the crew called in to fix the job), it's only the floors that were built AFTER Sandy. Windows have finally started going up on those floors but still a couple weeks from being done. Hooks installed for the windows were a couple inches off and had to be redone.

That's Oro 2 - smaller sequel to its larger neighbor built a few years ago. I believe it will rise 30 odd stories. No, I don't think there is a thread... just one of those towers that rises unnoticed.
