why not just have it all connected to the WFC passageway?

How they gonna take out that big crane from middle of the steel structure ? Or they build it higher ?

it's a kangaroo crane. each time the height of the core increases they 'jump' the crane up a level. it will follow the tower as it rises, and when it's finished, they'll take it down
