A group of local investors, major downtown employers, and foundations have partnered, raising over $100 million, to bring Hotel Santa Rita to the area.

The hotel will be located at 300 W. Texas Avenue, along with a public parking facility and retail space on the first floor. The Hotel will feature 135 rooms, an 8,000 square foot ballroom, four separate meeting rooms, as well as a 4,000 square foot restaurant and bar that will be able to seat 185 people.

After approval from the Midland City Council and proper permits are obtained, the Hotel is anticipated to be open in three years.

I remember flying over Midland at night on my way to LA. Nothing, noting, nothing then a patch of light!

Very nice addition to Midland. It's a nice city with an impressive downtown for it's size.
