Nashville has some extremely nice art deco going on here and there around downtown.

Great pics... looks like you had a great time! Weird seeing it not as lively as I'm used to, but cold weather will turn southerners into hermits pretty quickly. haha

Wonderful. My parents retired about an hour south on a horse farm. Every great city has a great university and Vanderbilt is such an asset to Nashville. There's not much I enjoy more than walking a college campus and soaking up its history and admiring the architecture. My husband and I work in academia and Nashville is definitely on our list post-NYC.
