Thank you.

I was shooting from the passenger seat of a moving car, on the Schuylkill Expressway. Wanted to crop out the adjacent car, but here is the shot with Liberty 2 not cut off-

Another, more expansive view which I hadn't included since it's a little blurry. Although Liberty one is hidden, it shows more of CITC-

^The Laurel should pop up to the left of Two Liberty from here in a couple years - curious where exactly from this angle.

Wouldn't it be just left of 10 Rittenhouse? So right in the middle of the gap between Liberty Two and FMC.

^Yep, I am curious about the skyline impact - at 599ft, should be pretty nice, a new peak.

TK ...if you feel like drawing it into your pic haha...

^Thanks TK.
Now if SLS was ever built, man the Jersey view of the skyline w/ FMC, Laurel, and SLS being just south of the main cluster would be mighty impressive.

Can't forget the lights on the W/Element, I can't wait until they're turned on, it'll look great from that angle. I'll make a visual of it

Is it nitpicky of me to dislike how the lantern doesn't go all the way down on the east side? That gap there bothers me - it kills the illusion of a single piece of light coming up from the bottom.

It's still unfinished, they haven't put in window panels there yet because they're finishing up with the roof. The lights will extend from the roof up when complete

Not at all. In fact I think what you have pointed out is precisely what everyone first notices about the building when they see it from 76 or I95.

what frustrates me even more is the glass pattern of the spine's last 50 or so feet before getting to the exposed lantern. That spine could have a very easy and natural transition from the bottom floors to the lantern. Instead they go out of their way to introduce a completely out of place patch of glass at the top of the spine that ruins what should have been the architectural jewel of this building. It's inexplicable. Anyone know what happened?

If TK is correct, which I assume he is, there is no need for frustration yet. See post #9435.

Me too. This seriously downgrades this building in the daytime. Seems like it should have been easily avoided. That's my main gripe with this building. Otherwise, it's pretty decent. It will look great at night when you can't see this jarring transition once the lantern is fully lit.
