This is one of those supertalls that would be better served if it were moved away from the pack. But I like it. Imagine if it were going up in Brooklyn along with 9 Dekalb.

I LOVE the cladding already... another year and this neighborhood will have gone from a wonder of a concept over the railyards to an exciting reality that along with Manhattan West brings a vitality and urban dynamism to the West Side. A neighborhood created before our eyes... with a whole other half just about to get started!

Unless I get a better view of the structure at extreme left, which I assume is part of 35H, I'm not sold on how the pavilion's design gibes with the surrounding architecture.

In the abstract, though, it looks crisp.

That pavilion makes a great bookend to that open space. There will be a lot of it, but we don't need too much of it.
