It's very similar to GS Headquarters downtown.

It seems like there is no movement on the core anymore. Has it topped out?

I think it's safe to say it's T/O Design.

The only thing that is disappointing about this building is the shockingly awful turd that sits to it's right. Oh well, at least the facade (from what I can tell) looks good. This building has been making fast progress and my guess is that the two partially complete floors will be finished by weeks end. That leaves just one more before the building is topped out.

This building could have used some extra height!

May not be a skyline changer, but nonetheless, a great addition to Midtown.

If you're talking about the wedding cake building immediately to the north of this project, I couldn't disagree more. It is the best building of that style in the city, beautifully proportioned and wonderfully modern. And you are also wrong about the condition of the facade, which is in terrible shape. I really hope someone invests the time and money to give it the care it deserves.

As for this building, it is turning out quite nicely. Can we just have Hines develop every lot in the city.

I think he's referring to the Residence Inn graham cracker shit-box disaster of a building just to the south. The base of the building seems like it only came about after the architects were told to fuck it up as much as possible. It's almost like its a spite building really.

Yes, that building is certainly a disaster.

Earlier tonight I was staring up at this building in the rain as I waited to cross the street. Even in the rain, it was beautiful. It's not the tallest tower, but it imposes itself over that intersection as if it were the center of New York. I like it.
