Oct 17, 2017 pics.

I will be away for a few weeks. I am already anxious to see the changes when I return.

^^^^ Backfilling soooo close to done. Even so, dumptrucks still arriving every few minutes when I went past.

I think the entrance to the garage is the rightmost gap. The floor appears to be 18 - 24 inches feet above the blue insulation.

They are preparing to pour the hotel 4th floor. It should start moving up quickly now too.

^^^^ Getting ready to pour the condo 6th floor.

i drive to work taking buckwold bridge northbound to my store in the north end, that condo tower is sure looking nice driving into downtown, and really making a presence now, especially in the morning when its still dark, i cant wait to see the glass put up and see how the light captures that during the evening and night drives.

Great pics of River Landing tower

Hopefully this works. It's my first post so bear with me. If anyone can instruct me on how to post pictures better please let me know. I am no computer wizard so I am not sure how to put a photo directly on the post without a link.

I came across these great drone shots on AODBT's Facebook page. Looks like they were taken today. 8th floor rebar going in. The building is really starting to take shape and get some height.

thanks for the post and link bugaboo! I have not been by for a while and it surprises me how quickly the floors are going up. Will the 'winter weather' now affect that?

Also, would love to see a big deep hole beside the condo where the office tower is slated to go, but perhaps that won't be until Spring now...

Winter weather won’t affect the construction with pagnotta in control of the speed. Unless it gets extremely cold or lots of precipitation. Fingers crossed the winter is a decent one their looking to be done the structure before spring

It certainly looks like the staging area has been totally cleaned up by the condo/hotel build. Maybe this is to get ready for "the dig"??!!

^^^^ As prairieguy said, the office tower parkade area has been cleaned up. Also it appears (although I can't be certain) that there are some more survey stakes in.

^^^^ Today they poured the 9th condo floor and were pouring the 6th (?) hotel floor. I wonder what is going on with the rightmost cylindrical column on the 5th floor (wrapped in tarps).

^^^^ I think the condo will wind up with good proportions. I think it might have looked a little "squat" at 16 stories.

^^^^ I wonder how much higher they can go with a mobile concrete pump.

My guess is that we'll be seeing some activity on the office tower site within the next 2 weeks.

The pump should reach the approx 170 to 190ft up and then they run steel and rubber line to lay the concrete. However the hoses with the pressure surges from pumping kicks back and forth and the rebar gets bent quite easy. So it typically moves to a Crane and Bucket at that height, (The footprint isn't large enough to have a placing boom).

Given the cold and the speed of crane and bucketing, its slows the progress significantly. It's really not fun and it's very easy to lose money or not make much with those liabilities. I wish them luck.

Nov. 21, 2017 pictures:

^^^^ Looks like the hotel is catching up to the condo (the hotel floors are bigger). They poured three complete condo floors in the three weeks I was away, but the latest floor has taken a lot longer.

Some activity at the office tower site today. Workers can be seen removing the fencing around the office parkade site, and adding new fencing closer to the east side of the condo/hotel. Hopefully this portends shoring and not parking!

Some clarification, crane jacking will be going full height, same with the red one.. office tower dig is set to start next week and if anyone is wondering why the last floor there was taking a while it’s because they were waiting on special sono tubes for round columns to come in from California
