The Crown.......

ignature Tower Jakarta celebrates the Indonesian spirit through the reinforcement of the date of the National Day of Independence,
17 August 1945, viewed on each faÃ§ade of the tower. Visible during the day through the use of highly polished stainless-steel, 17 leaves
grow and blossom upward through the shaft of the tower.

At the crown, these 17 leaves are bound together by 8 louver grill elements, culminating to embrace a single 45 meter tall
spire: the 17th day of the 8th month in the 45th year.Central to the four building elevations of the crown, these elements
in turn are supported by 5 crystalline glass buds â€“ accentuating the five principals of Pancasila â€“ rising to support a single
central spire â€“ the united Indonesian people. Hence the budding flower (Pancasila) spreading from all corners of the tower,
spreading to all corners of Indonesia.

In the evening on national holidays, we envision the 17 leaves would be outlined with white LED lights, the supporting 8 louver
grills up-lit in red light, the center glass buds back-lit in white light, and central spire illuminated with 45 red and white LED
bands. During non-holidays, the lighting would be able to be changed to suit the particular occasion.

Great thread! We don't get nearly enough coverage of south east Asia on this forum. Signature Tower and Pertamina Energy Tower look great. And is that a Ferrari logo on the top of Graha MRA?

Ya off course... Used to, this site project is ferrari showroom and service
And Ferrari in Indonesia represented by PT. Surya Sejahtera Otomotif as a sole importer and PT. Citra Langgeng Otomotif as a sole distributor started its business since 2001, both of company subsidiary by MRA, and their plan to make ground floor as a ferrari showroom..

And graha MRA is now diging/under construction

Capital World Tower looks a bit like a carbon copy of one too many Cesar Pelli towers. I'm not sure if he should be flattered or upset.

Seems you can't be a major city in Asia if you don't have at least one building 600m tall.

Cesar pelli maybe upset for his carbon copy,
but how about SOM(Skidmore, Owings & Merrill)?, look at the design China World Trade Center Tower 3 in Beijing it so similar with this Capital World Tower

hahahaha, i agree with you, look a china now, even its 2nd and 3rd biggest cities have super tall building, development in china so rapid...
So i hope the Signature tower & Pertamina Tower is remedy for our late
