Starting to think Miller will not hit the 100 point mark, but the Canucks will wrap up the 1st in the West...

The Oilers will decide that in the next two games.

Hymen with 50!

What an absolute beauty of a player, character, man and role model.

Shots 35-15 and we are down 4-3, in mid-March, with this team?

I am so sick and tired of this level of effort, finish and care.

That's a pretty pathetic effort from Edmonton yesterday but you can argue it's a scheduled loss, ie the league shouldn't be scheduling them to play on a Sunday. At a pretty meaningless point in a bloated season that's just dragging on by now, with players trying not to get injured.

The Leafs also lost the Sunday match, away at Carolina. But unlike Edmonton, the Leafs looked good and it was only 2-1. And that was with proper travel and against a good opponent. So in our case, the scheduled loss feels something like a win, whereas Edmonton's poor effort probably does deserve derision.

In defense of the Oilers, the Sens play better against good teams than bad teams.

Vancouver can clinch a playoff spot tonight if they beat LA.

There, that should jinx it.

Man did we ever get lucky hanging in there and then took over, but let you back in.

Solid game though.

Nick Suzuki becomes the first Hab since Gallagher (33) in 2018-2019 to score 30 goals.

In 18-19 was also the last time a Hab recorded 70 pts since Max Domi (72).

Those are the next 2 marks for Suzuki with 10 games left.

Matthews scoring #60 to cap off a 3-0 shutout in front of a festival atmosphere away at Buffalo... About as good as it gets!

McDavid is only 2 points back after being down a lot. it's almost a guarantee that he wins the scoring race.
