I was thinking that too. It should be a white glaze!

Thanks again for the updates!

I think the colour of the glass looks good in this shot. It looks quite different depending on the lighting.

Great pictures. I like the glass colour. This view will look even better once the TD tower expansion is complete (it will be good to see windows instead of a blank wall).

Did you get pictures of the TD tower?

Sorry, not much has changed at the TD Tower, so I didn't bother taking any pictures.

Hopefully we will see some real progress at the TD tower over the coming couple of months.

Great pictures! I'll be coming to Halifax end of May beginning of June and hope to take in as much of the city as I can! It will be my fist time in Halifax you see. Pumped. Looking forward to seeing this building all in glass by then I hope?

Hopefully you'll enjoy your stay! Halifax is a fantastic city. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM. I've lived here for a huge portion of my life, so I know the place pretty well.

May/June is a great time to visit. You should definitely check out the Victorian Public Gardens, which will be in full-bloom.

The Nova Centre will certainly be a deep pit by then...

(Try not to have too much fun at Reflections.)

I just noticed that it is currently impossible to get to Baton Rouge without jaywalking. Personally I have no desire to go there but if I wanted to I couldn't do it without breaking the law. The Waterside construction has closed the sidewalk on the west side of the block. There is no sidewalk along the Morse Tea Building on the harbour side. In my opinion there should be a crosswalk across lower water between the historic properties and the Baton Rouge end of the block. Cars speed through here anticipating the wider streets of the Cogswell interchange. Tourists wander out from the Marriott and waterfront. Disaster waiting to happen...

I completely agree, I have dashed across this spot many times. The curb cutouts and brick path make it look like there should be a crosswalk here, I'm surprised the owner of Baton Rouge hasn't requested it, or just gone ahead and painted it without asking, we all know he has white paint...

Point Pleasant is also gorgeous in full bloom in May/June.

Unfortunately there's no festivals and the waterfront might be a bit chilly but there's still plenty to do!

Oh and avoid the Dome. Nothing good ever happens after a night there ... I recommend The Toothy Moose, The Lower Deck, and Reflections followed by a donair at pizza corner.

If you don't like the nightclub scene I recommend the Keg or McKelvies for dinner. There's a good comedy club in the bottom of the Westin Hotel, and Spring Garden is always good for an evening stroll.

The high-profile stabbing was back when it was still Rain, I think since it has been under the banner of Toothy Moose there have only been fatal beatings (though I might be wrong).

To be fair, the stretch of sidewalk in front of Toothy is "in front of" a lot of bars...
