The blank red wall of Market Lofts *really* stands out in the first shot. I hope it's covered up by another building soon.

The more fill we get with in the skyline the more flat and table top it becomes. I'm happy the vacant lots are being built but the skyline is looking less defined.

There's a chance to make an impact on the skyline with the Cogswell redevelopment. It's one of the few areas without much in the way of height limitations, but all of the concepts have only shown mid to high-rises.

I don't think it has any viewplanes but it is still affected by the ramparts bylaw, so development can only hit 80-90 m or so under the current rules.

If we can't get a 9-storey building approved in Dartmouth I imagine the Cogswell lands will only be allowed to have 4-storey Highfield Park Specials. Particularly with Mr. Mason involved.

This is correct. We will never see a "skyscraper" (100m+), with the possible exception of Kings Wharf in the CBD or centre plan region as regulations are currently/proposed.
