I've seen this before. I don't think much of it. I'd lean more to the side of it not getting built though.

As much as I love PC, I have to agree with architect1 here. The building is an absolute mess. Imagine the shadow this POS will cast.

Lol. It looks like they took parts of several other buildings and put them together to get this.

So damn ugly.

This looks like some corporate logo gone horribly wrong. I think I see part of the MTV logo.

Thumbs down Jeebus Hep Me!

If this building is going by the 'form follows function' dictate, then it has to be either a slaughterhouse or a waste management facility.

Its inelegance is appealing.

I seriously really like this building... LOL It's just not something you see getting built everywhere else. It's probably a good thing since alot of people find it unattractive, but I like it plenty.

Actually I think it has an ok design, if you look at the neighboring architecture, You'll notice that it fits perfectly with the soroundings.

Is this a double-reverse secret insult?

Either that or you'll be soon receiving a summons for a libel suit against you by owners in the surrounding area.

Seriously, this building looks like someone assembled some Legos during a Grand Mal seizure. Inelegance? More like incontinence.

That photo does not look like 89 floors high, but rather, 89 floors wide.

You can laugh at its design all you want. The hotel is being built by Decameron Group and will be highly successful and profitable. And you will still be sitting on your sofa writing comments while those involved with the project will be cashing nice checks. I doubt that any who spout off have ever been, or will go to Panama to see the final product. Maybe the room rates at Megapolis will be out of your reach?

I forgot that this is an economy forum...

They could also destroy the whole city and make money with rebuilding it. Who cares?
Still, this building is a nightmare of 21th century architecture.
