Someone help me!! Urban design class is kicking my ass

Ok, so I have to do a final report for a redesign of the arts quad at the University of Waterloo. I finished the site plan, but now I have to do it in SketchUp! Im basically useless at Sketchup, but i can create simple buildings and stuff. What im having a hard time is is creating my market. heres the site plan, and Ill explain whats going on:

The centre is a small creek flowing from a fountain. It is lined with trees. The second row of trees has market tents attached to it, facing the creek. On the opposite side, facing outwards, are wood posts that are attached to the tree and support a canvas roof.

If anyone has any ideas, or tips, on how to construct his in SketchUp, it would be greatly appreciated! I have about 9 days to finish it. Thanks!
