Personally I would prefer that the museum stays on the present spot. I suppose the board could sell the land where it presently sits to help defray the cost of the move. That might count as a school divestiture though.

That's about as interesting as that project's gonna get. Far more interesting than the final product.

Although I hate the location and history behind it, that does look pretty nice.

Psychiatric treatment facility would be apropos in some ways.

Suburban tech/office park style would be another descriptor. It proves you can take the Board of Ed out of downtown and you can take the downtown out of the Board of Ed.

It doesn't look bad though.

Could somebody tell me how you are supposed to get to that place coming off the Linc. You can't turn left onto Fieldway, and as far as I know, there's no access from Kingfisher. Surely there's a plan here besides cutting through a parking lot or detouring several blocks...

that building will be infinitely more impressive than the fools and incompetents who run the place.

I believe the city is going to look at putting a traffic light at that intersection.

What an atrocious display of self indulgence and waste by a board busy closing up neighbourhood schools, demolishing heritage buildings and bussing kids to supersized prison style mega-schools. Sickening.

Not to worry - I'm sure they'll get a good price for it when they decide to move back downtown again within the decade.

Hahaha, stole the words out of my girlfriends mouth, a frustrated science teacher banging her head against the wall, trying to get a full-time career going amoungst the uber socialist, 'never retiring', 'free loading', 'union and government assistance leaching', 'losers' haha. I hear it everyday.

^Hey, why retire when you can collect a pension and do supply work at the same time? Screw those young graduates desperate for work.
