Would that not make this under construction then? If they've poured concrete and have a few floors of underground parking already down.

Also is it me or do the drawings look like the casino is scaled back. If I count correctly (and I may not be), I only count 65 tables and about 300 slots. I thought it was supposed to be 600 slots and 75 tables. Is there another slots floor missing from those drawings?

He might be confusing it with One Pacific. There are three cranes on site but I think they are all for OP.

Huh? The rebar sticking out was by the pedestrian overpass. That's nowhere near op. Also you can clearly see a couple of floors built of the casinos parkade in the last picture. Lol. And yes there are 3 cranes up which are all for op but what's that have to do with anything

Which picture? I see nothing but dirt where the casino will go.

Cranes are required for setting the thread title to "Under Construction".

Looking at that extensive list of plans posted by officedweller (fantastic!) and focussing on the newly planned roadway, eleiminating the viaducts .....
putting all this on top of it, or eliminating the viaducts will , and I here address particularly planners and engineers, among everbody else,
to help me synthesize a future projection of what all this will be like in 5,10,20 years.
I am distant from the situation, and more importantly, not an engineer of any sort. However, traffic-wise, I just wanna know what the friccck is going to happen.

Passing by today it looked like they were erecting a real crane on this site.

If someone takes a picture to confirm, we'll change the title.

Appears to be a luffing crane. This area is going to be a forest of cranes before too long.

This site is is going to be busy! Already four cranes up and more to come. It will be a crane operator's nightmare with the stadium so close by.

4 erections? How many erections will this site require in order to really get off the ground?

If the casino gets a couple more cranes then there will 7 in this view (including the Rogers Arena south tower in the background).

Can't wait until the eyesore of the current Edgewater is gone. Who owns the current site? Has anything firm been decided for it?

The floors going up are not for this project.

Sorry, you're correct (but impolite). In any case the title had already been changed to U/C earlier today.
