Aren't you Johnny on the spot...

Thanks Mike I hadn't seen these, but read (I think from Brandon or Costa) that they had begun site prep already

Yeah, there's just an incredible amount of construction activity going up near both sides of the Tower Bridge. It will look pretty good in a couple of years.

Anyone know how tall this one is?
If each floor were 12 feet, this is about 208 feet then. Not too shabby for the other side of the river! (Or even this side!)

Yeah, they have quite a few lined up, with the Triangle Area and the riverfront and all. There were some renderings from the Bee floating around a while ago, and I'm trying to find them now. If I do, I'll post them.

Northbay, I found some stuff. It's pretty old and preliminary, but it should show a good idea of what they're aiming for:

Also, I found a much larger, and color, rendering of the CalSTRS building, from the CalSTRS website:

And here's the link if anyone's interested: http://www.calstrs.com/About CalSTRS...hDrawings.aspx

I also noticed this:
Quote:
Expansion Property

The expansion property, part of CalSTRS' real estate acquisition, may be developed at a later date, depending on the growth requirements of CalSTRS. Tentative plans for this seven-story high-rise office building call for 200,000 gross square feet of office space, approximately 617 parking spaces and up to 20,000 square feet of retail space to be made available for lease along the Third Street frontage.

Residential Building

CalSTRS' proposes to develop an 17-story high-rise residential building that faces River Walk Park and overlooks the Sacramento River. This property could provide 150 condominium units and 300 parking spaces
And, of course, another picture:

Yep.

Somewhere, there's a picture showing profile views of River One, River Two, and River Three, in comparison to the Ziggurat. It's from the Bee, and the picture has a red tint to it. I remember it very well, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone know and/or have what picture I'm talking about?
