It has been confirmed that the Spring's crane is finally starting to crawl down...

They were taking down the last parts of the crane today. They had a mobile crane on-site removing it. I was up in Round Rock today and saw a semi turning right onto Sam Bass Road from I-35 (coming from Austin). It had a red section of crane on the trailer. It MUST have been part of Spring's crane.

It has to be part of Spring's crane. I wonder what the lighting of Spring will look like. If it's all in one color, it will truly dominate the night.

Um, yeah. I was searching for future Austin photos and this came up. Does anybody know about this rendering of Spring?

That is actually a rendering of another building in Vancouver, Canada. It was designed by the same architect who designed Spring. The rendering was included in news articles about Spring to show how Spring would roughly look. Basically they were using it to show what "point towers" look like. A point tower is a skyscraper that is tall and slender and takes up very little land.

And so is Spring pretty much a completed done deal condominium project with 55% of units sold? Is it completed?

Pretty much finished.

As Spring opens its doors, another condo project is delayed
