Visited the Little Caesars location this weekend and it was really good. It's just a shame that it's a ten minute drive for me...kind of takes away the convenience of being able to walk in and walk out with a pizza in ten seconds.

Maybe Little Caesars should expand to West or Central.

Visited new Pita Pit in former Quiznos location on McAllister Drive. It was very busy and very good product. Lots of new restaurants in city - sign of things picking up or just redistribution of eating out dollars????

It's a bit of a shame that most of the nice stone and copper cladding on the justice complex is concentrated on the south- and east-facing sides of the building; it would be nice to have a bit more of that facing the highway.

Still looks better than the YMCA did, though, IMHO.

You're in luck. The north side facing the highway will be clad in copper (see photo previous page). They started it already. I'm very pleased with the architecture of the building. Redeems ourself maybe 25% for tearing down the old general.

Part of it will, but there is still more of the plain concrete on that side.

I suppose there is a lot more sheer surface area on that side, too, though. Would be pretty expensive to make the whole thing fancy.

Not to be a downer again, but...weren't the numbers down last year, too? Successive down years?

Drove by the Former Bulk Barn Location on McAllister Drive. As mentioned before That location has been split up into Two Stores, one in which Papa Johns is expcted to set up there. I noticed last evening that the Larger Partition, now has a sign above it "Pet Value" (http://www.petvalu.com/home)

Interesting that Village Pets in Parkway Mall closed last week, and now the sign is up for this store across the street.

Nice shots, Cdnguys!
Is the first photo of the courthouse showing the copper bricks tarnishing already, or is it just reflecting off something nearby.

I too noticed it was significantly less shiny. Must be a natural reaction to elements but I have to say I like it this tone better than the shiny tone.

Police Station Design

The law courts look very nice; however, I'm not sure what to expect when police station built. Some elements seem cheap to me like the windows, and I'm not sure what's going on with curved part on Union street in middle. Maybe in the end it will all come together but I'm definitely not feeling it like I am law courts. Any thoughts??

I've been meaning to post a graph of home construction over the last years in the NB stats page...I'll most likely do so this week

It did? That's a shame; it was nice having a pet store around that wasn't a 'Wal-Mart' pet store.

This might be old news but has anyone seen the gravel/stone parking lot that was made off Foster Thurston? Its up from the Labours Union building. I've seen cars parked there and full size charter coaches/buses picking up/dropping off people there. Anyone know what this is? I believe they used to use the old RV place parking lot at the intersection of Rothesay Rd before. Just curious.
