A very nice Ottawa skyline shot from LHTP on Flickr. Not really a pano, but if I cut out some of the sky it would become one.

Man, I think that is offically the nicest Ottawa skyline shot I've seen. Most Ottawa skyline shots I've seen before have been kind of underwhelming, but in this shot Centretown is really looking pretty long and dense. I like it!

The saturation has been upped a bit. I am also guilty of that trick.

I've been to that spot too..

Beautiful picture!

I find it interesting how the Peace Tower being hidden in the steam makes the West Block Tower (does it have a name?) look more impressive.

Hmm... the most obvious I guess would be Lebreton Flats I/II and a tower rising in 'ull (72 Laval?)

Great shots btw!

I would LOVE to get the picture in the first post done up as a large print. As many quirks as this city has, I've always been proud to call Ottawa home and would place that print somewhere in my home in a heartbeat. I've tried searching for a super-size version to no avail. I may have to take a Camera out at night and try and replicate it if the search remains fruitless...

I attempted this shot again, this time from Bate Island (the first one was off Champlain Bridge). I like the view from the bridge better.

This one looks pretty good, too! Better angle for downtown Gatineau (Hull sector) buildings. Thanks for posting both.
