One of my best galpals relocated to Roanoke because of her hubby's job. Just curious - what *is* the knockoff Gehry building?

To be honest I expected it to be a boring town and it turns out to be anything but. Well done!

@ VTnardo - sorry, didn't make it to New River.

@ MayDay & gio - That building is the "new" (2008 opening) Taubman Museum of Art.

@ Cass - the rocket is in front of the Virginia Museum of Transportation.

Roanoke, aside from that pseudo-Gehry thing, looks nice. Have only breezed past it on the interstate 81... will have to stop next time I'm a drivin past.
