^ LOL that building is literally the 2018 Chicago real estate market. A massive bulky apartment tower for the lumpenMillennials and then a miniature little condo building for the handful of startup founders and hedge fund folks.

On the brown line yesterday, I spotted a large building-sized hole NW of Old Town Park I and II, but still part of the original site. I couldn't get my phone out in time to snag a picture, but if anyone is on the train today, they should try and get one. I don't think it's the foundation for the third building nor does it look like a staging area for construction equipment. Any ideas?
A couple pics I snagged with my phone on the way to O'Hare this Saturday. Apologies for the potato quality

Making a big cistern under the park - this will allow the water to seep into the ground - not pour into the city's sewers. http://stormtrap.com/
