This is the first time I've seen this project since it was nothing but a big hole in the ground! Thanks a lot for the update...

No problem at all... As for the height now, it looks to be around 8 floors.

You can keep track of the progress from their webcam:

It looks like 360 is around the 11th or 12 floor now and since they finished the garage section it seems to have picked up pace.

360 is at 14 floors now.
Averaging one floor per week.
The setback will be at the 17th floor and it should go a bit faster then.

Not that i think this is a bad looking building or anything - but Novare has like 6 buildings or so that look nearly exactly alike. I think it's time for a some new designs.

That watertower looks funny amidst a growing skyline.

I really hand it to you for trying, but egad it looks like something from The former Soviet union. Are you aware it will only be 1/2 that width from the 17th floor to the top. I actually enjoy when people do these photoshop things, thanks.

it kind of looks lonely in that location. That's an odd site for a high rise residential.

DT Austin is spreading west with the Condo "Boom" and there is alot of seemingly empty space surrounding alot of these buildings. But these buildings are having a nice affect on the skyline. You are in some ways correct in thinking 360 looks dislocated from other structures in this photo, this is only partly true. Many other buildings are nearby and more are to come. We hope these will have a great impact on the overall impact of what was once a very minimal amount of infill. Not to mention the fact that we have Capitol View Corridors in place that limit where buildings have certain height limitations that might obscure the view of the Capitol's dome. The State Capitol has more and more become less of a visual identity as many buildings have blocked more and more views. It goes with the territory, since the Capitol is smack dabb in the middle of the DT area. The future will only tell what the limits will allow for growth in Austin's core. I hope a certain symmetry can be achieved with respect to both.

360 has now reached its 16th floor, as of yesterday, which is the location of the first setback. From this point forward, the broad-side of the tower will be nearly half its current width (starting slightly to the right of the core, in the following picture).

Here's the webcam capture as of this morning.... some work has already begun on the 17th floor:

Here are some updated shots of 360 that were taken over the weekend (4/28). The building is up to its 17th floor...

It sort of depresses me that this will be the tallest building in the city soon. It kinda makes me wish that Frost Bank was taller. That is a much more beautiful building to crown the skyline.

I stopped by the 360 Sales office this weekend. They now have an info sheet available with pricing on remaining units.

There are still some interesting "deals" left:

One Bedrooms:

An A6 (North facing) on the 12th floor @ $356/ft

A few A3's (West facing) high in the building (30-40th floor) @ $382/ft+

An A1 (West facing) on the 17th floor (17 has exclusive use of the big terrace on 17) @$402/ft.- this will probably be a fairly unique amenity...

The rest of the available one bedrooms are East facing.

The two bedrooms avail are B8, B5, B4 & B2

Rumors about the restaurants are a sushi concept and an Italian restaurant/market of some sort...
