There's no Smashburger by the Riverpoint Target. You sure you weren't thinking about Fatburger?

As for Cirrus' prompt moving of our off topic discussion, I applaud his moderation skills and keeping certain whiny individuals from complaining that much more.

I'm happy with opening a Mountain West Coffee Talk thread. But seeing as how it's the Mountain West, it really should be a Microbrewery.

The real question now should be what kind of beers do we have?

I think a basic pilsner to start. Maybe throw in a stout as well.

I keep telling you guys that you're allowed to start new threads. You don't need my sign off. Or, if you want, I'll retitle the sandwich thread.

I'm not going to sticky it, though.

^What do we have to do to sticky it? Liquor? Money? Women? Boy?

Name your price, moderator.

Smashburger is bomb.

Anyone ever go to Crown Burger?

I still say that Griff's is the best in the city, though. Their 1/4lb jalapeño meltdown burger is off the chain.

We need a burrito thread. Had Santiagos again for breakfast today. That place is great.

How about we turn this sucker into the Mountain West Microbrew thread (aka the general bullshitting thread so we stop making the Pueblo thread relevant)?

Santiagos is the bomb for breakfast and Crownburger is good too, though is it affiliated with the Utah-based Crown Burger chain or just a knock-of?

Well y'know, every time I ask if people want to modify the stickies the response is overwhelmingly negative.

Start the thread. If it proves popular I'll talk to the other mods about stickying it.

In the mean time, you can curry favor with me by sending pictures of redheads.

I agree with everything you just said, Santiago for breakfast, especially after a night of drinking is the best. I grew up on the Griff's in Arvada, so love that place...them and Jim's Burger Haven on 80th-ish and Sheridan.

Never been to Crown, where is that place?

Oh and for the one above that said they should stop mentioning Park Burger on here because it has become crowded, they should also tell Westword to do the same, because the place is always rated highly in Westword (and deservingly so, its very good).

I'm all for renaming this one to Microbrew or whatever, that's fine. Nice to have a place to BS once in a while since all I talk about is construction and buildings at work.

Feel free to move this to the Denver Subway Sandwich/Mountain West Microbrew Thread

Apparently this one way to curry favor with our mighty moderator (I'll keep the forum postings fairly PG):

Source

So, can we get this thread retitled to the "Mountain West Microbrew"?

Freckly ones are the best kind.

I changed the thread title, but may well change it back unless the redheads keep coming.

Also, I added the descriptive bit at the end so the Utah and Idaho crowds would understand. We can change that if people want.

Excellent, a chance to get to know our fellow mountain westerners better. Especially the Utah folk. The only place I talk to them now is in the football thread, where I am obliged to hate them. Here, I can like them.

Hmmmm, if we flood you with redhead pics can we keep the title and change the Pueblo one to "Irrelevant Pueblo"?

I'd love to see the hissy fit Eeyore would throw.

So, the Rockies have the best record in the MLB. Who could have predicted they'd be such a potent force this year (so far)?

I also look forward to talking to our Utah and Idaho forumers and building some positive connections. At least until the first heated debate.
