boise’s tallest buildings are pretty small, but I have a feeling the next couple of decades will see the skyline really change significantly. should be fun to watch.

here’s the current list.


Zion Tower (323 feet, under construction)




U.S. Bank Building (267 feet)




One Capital Center (206 feet)




Grove Hotel (198 feet)




The Aspen (196 feet)




not included in this list is the Idaho State Capitol building, but it would rank third at 208 feet:

The Renaissance Center (both the central tower and 4 adjacent towers are the top 4 tallest in the city but it's more or less one building) - 727 ft - 1977



One Detroit Center - 619 ft - 1993



Penobscot Building - 565 ft - 1928



The Guardian Building - 495 ft - 1929



The Book Tower - 475 - 1926
