What I've got today are just a few extra things that I snapped in the 38th St / Nalley Valley area this afternoon while wandering around with my coffee.

Java Jive is one of Tacoma's older restaurant/bar establishments. In spite of its being a dive, people seem to like it. Apparently it used to have a "jungle room" filled with plastic plants in which two live chimps lived, who were named "Java" and "Jive", respectively:
Construction is coming along quite nicely on the SR-16 overpass/highway exchange project. SR-16 connects Interstate 5 to the Narrows Bridge and Olympic Peninsula beyond:
Atlas Foundry appears in the distance, on the other side of the overpasses:
