Amazing photos...thanks for sharing them with us! I'm always amazed at the craftsmanship of the stone and wood carving in places like this.

I had to laugh when I saw the street vendor selling candy, Coca-Cola and a few dozen eggs buried under the candy. The very next photo had a sign with teeth....possibly the dentist you'll visit after eating the candy.

Great photos! It looks like a peaceful way to live high in the mountains.

I'll be going to Kathmandu and the Himalayas this spring. Having not really seen either of them before, this thread was incredibly helpful, besides being..., well, just incredible. Great stuff.

Nice shots, hoping to make it there this spring. Those pedestrian bridges are crazy.

Great set. Much more of a big city than I was expecting. Upon looking it up, I was also surprised that it's relatively not that high in elevation. I was assuming it was way up there.

KatManDeezy off da heez

Good density and nature combined, like a low rise Medellin without hot curvy chicks lol.

But for meditation and self realization the mountain areas looked perfect and hot women are only distractions so I think I will take this over Colombia

Ahhh! Ahhh! Ahhh!!! How saintly of you to upload those photo's!

I make it a habit of rarely returning to a spot I've seen in the world, no matter how spectacular it had been, because there's too much of the world to see with so limited time in our lives.

But Nepal, Kathmandu, I will definitely make an exception to! So want to return there, but that 21 hours of flying over there, OMG!, at 62, don't know if I could do it again!
