I will take some pics of the Tosoro building construction since it is near my house.

Also San Antonio does have some awesome freeway construction sites.....I10\410 and 410\281

Also the 281 tollroad project will start soon...probably in 2009

Also the Blanco road widening project past the super target will start in the next few months.

The Tosoro building is comming along nicely. The Crane is up and they are working on the first floor...we should start to see some floors go up soon. I believe this building is going to be 14 stories.

I just saw some new buildings going up in the SO (Stone Oak) I will get some pictures. there are some nice office buildings hidden in the SO off of Stone Oak Parkway. They are building a new one even on Sonterra and where reagan high is.

Tesoro Headquarters Crane Pictures

This is looking down on the new Tesoro headquarters building from Sonterra Blvd. It looks like they have at least 2 floors done...maybe 3....this is suppose to be a 14 story tower. It will the StoneOaks (The SO) first skyscraper (mid rise), with hopefully many more to follow...

Note: All photographs are taken by me (Aiphanes). I will now use flickr.com for all my photos.

Methodist Stone Oak Hospital

Here are some pictures of the new Methodist Stone Oak Hospital. It should be completed by March 2009. This is suppose to be the most advanced hospital in the region. Its not that big but it is advanced.

The Vistana Highrise

They already have 6 floors completed. Total will be 17 floors. (stand corrected by the awesome people on this site, you know who you are)
The Vistana is also in a good location...there is a nice park across the street...and its right near hospitals and the interstates are real close too. Easy to get in and out.

The Crane is in place. It is huge! The pit looks done. I will get pics of the pit on my next run.

Tesoro Crane and base looking from Hardy Oak Drive

There are only 2 of 14 stories done. I believe the parking garage is standalone, not underground.

The Vistana will actually be 17 floors. There is an amazing "penthouse" type apartment that will be the top three floors. The floorplan can be seen on their website.

My bad 17 floors! Cool That is going to be a cool looking building since there are not many highrises on the west side of downtown. We are going to have highrises on the east side and west side of downtown. Nice. That penthouse is going to be pimp! I believe that one is well over 2 million dollars...

Thanks for the links. I posted the updates in those links too.

I got more pictures comming. I am going to take lots of shots of the Vistana.
The Tesoro Building is less than 4 miles from my house...so I will be taking some picture of it too. Even the Tesoro crane is visible from my neiborhood. It will be a nice visible building in the Stone Oak. Hopefully there will be more buildings like the Tesoro in the Stone Oak Area in the future. There is a couple of Hotels they are building near the 1604/I-10 interchange....I will take pictures also of them this weekend.
