Sounds about right. Weren't you born in early 1983? I was born in September of 83.

That's weird. I also remember 8-8-88 but not the rest.

So was I. And I graduated HS in June 2001. Didn't you say a few posts back that your 10-year HS reunion was coming up? I skipped mine.

You must've started school earlier than me? I graduated HS in May 2002.

I didn't go to my 10th, 20th OR 30th. The graduating class was 997 students and I felt lost in the crowd. Didn't want to be there then, don't want to revisit it now.

My wife got a raise at her work. 15% increase in pay. Apparently all she had to do was ask.

Now she's the breadwinner in the family and I couldn't be any happier.

I've never been to a big concert in a stadium or anything but I've been to festivals and bars for shows before. Can't remember what was the first.

Even though I didn't admit it at the time, I NEVER cared for those all day, outdoor, multi group concerts and I went to a few of them. Too much sun, too much alcohol, too much drugs, lack of food, music at ear-shattering decibels. I always felt like shit afterwards but due to peer-pressure I always told my friends...."Oh, I had a great time."

I enjoyed the sun, was generally neutral with regards to the alcohol, had fun watching people fucked up on drugs, there was more than enough food, and the volume was good. I only feel like shit because of something I did but otherwise it was nice. Just spent most of the time chilling by the fires with an asscrack flavoured beer that never resulted in inebriation, or wandering around in the bush.

It was surprisingly well behaved though. It is considered one of the better festivals.

Just a little stressed about my workload this semester. I have four courses but only one final exam in December, so I have to do mini-essays every week, several large papers for every course, and of course term projects that I'm supposed to find time to work on throughout the semester. I'm not even sure where I should start. Doesn't look like I'll have much free time over the next few months, which is too bad as I managed to procure a girlfriend over the weekend. At least I don't have much actual class time, so I should manage.

^I'll take the girlfriend.

(Sorry, bad joke I know. I just hate being single, but I'm not exactly actively looking either, between a physics degree, writing a novel, and this website.)

At work I'm dealing with autumn AND Christmas supplies, the opening of two new stores, an understaffed department, a severe lack of space to put stuff and a boss who's oblivious to everything.....I swear she's Honey Boo Boo all grown up.

What's next, does SiHOR suddenly becomes a Euro-sceptic or W Jill starts being cordial in debates?
