Agreed. I would imagine given the L shaped floorplan it will likely take 3 weeks per floor. 5 more floors to go plus mechanical penthouse and your looking at around 21 weeks until this residential tower is topped out. External finishing and interior should see this finished by end of the year.

I don't know. The Byron Tricar building was topped out in May and isn't looking anywhere close to ready for occupancy. The crane is still there too. And the talk in that thread was how quickly they were going.

Tricar is a condo with custom finishing per unit. Not a cookie cutter approach for each unit in a apartment. Even today a large truck load of drywall was being unloaded at Tricar's project on Springbank.

OK, another cookie cutter example then. My in-laws live in the first Pomeroy building. We went with them to look at the model suites in the spring of whatever year that was (2013 I think). The building still had a few floors left to be added up top and it was well into the following winter before people started moving in. They moved in in April the following spring, and there weren't many who had been able to get in by then.

Pomeroy are apartments. The same model layouts got the exact same finishing. No customization at all. Tricar condo on Springbank allows each buyer of a unit to finish it as they please. Custom cabinets and countertops - no problem, different flooring - go ahead, your own paint scheme on the walls - sure thing. Takes alot longer to finish when each unit can be tweaked to the buyers choice.

The 4 story office building should be getting glass/cladding any day now, most of the supports are installed.
The residential had forms up for the 6th level this morning, not sure how much work will happen today...would not want to be working outside in these temperatures.

Work on 5th fl continues for apartment building. Progress slowed due to the bad weather of recent weeks.

Some of the wall forms for the 7th floor now started as they finish up the 6th fl. Also some glass now installed in the office building on ground floor.

Windows are getting installed on the second and third floors of the 10 story residential building.
Window installation looks to be about complete on the 4 story office building, drove by last night and looks like the brackets for solar panels are being installed on the siding now.

In addition to these buildings, more new condos are continuing on Shore Road (which runs parallel to Oxford) they are clearing the ground for what will be the old age/retirement building as well so I would expect that to begin sooner than later.

Most of the 9th floor walls and posts now installed. Would expect the 10th floor concrete slabs to start next week.

It is moving along nicely, windows are installed in the second and third floors as well.

The office building beside this looks to have most glass and solar panels installed as of last night.
